His paintings are influenced by travel, a six-year apprenticeship as a custom woodworker, and nine years of intensive home repair and restoration. He is also influenced by the methodology and philosophy of Chinese gardens.
Shiloh, Illinois artist Aunia Kahn portrays herself in many of her artworks. She combines digital photography, painting, and collage to create movie-like stills of elegant decadence and varied taboo. View more of her work at her website.
