Creative Kids Art Class
Every Saturday, unless noted otherwise
11:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.
After a brief tour of the exhibition, children and their adults will create art related to the current exhibits. $1 per person. Ages 5 and up. Please call to register by the Wednesday before the session you would like to attend. See our calendar page for specific dates and class topics.
Student Series
February 2 - April 26
4:15 - 6 p.m.
Our high school program returns to inform, prepare, and entertain teens interested in the arts.
Each week, students will be guided in a variety of artistic and museum practices, receive portfolio and college preparation, and participate in art discussions and lectures on career opportunities within the arts. Participants will also have a chance to work on personal projects.
The Student Series is open to any high school student in grades 9 – 12. Cost is $20 per semester; scholarship opportunities are available. Registration is required and limited to 20 students each semester.

Open Figure Drawing
Saturday, February 4, noon - 4 p.m.
Always wondered if you could draw? Here's your chance to try it in a relaxed atmosphere. Drop-in and draw from a costumed figure model. No experience necessary. A facilitator will answer your questions, but this isn't a class. Paper and pencils provided, but feel free to bring your own. Fee is $10/adult, $2/child.

Yasmina Reza’s three-person play about a conversation between an art collector who has spent a lot of money on a white painting and his two friends who argue hilariously about whether he made a wise choice or wasted his money. Translated from French by Christopher Hampton. Directed by SWIC's Theatre Manager Jeff Blue
In celebration of the Schmidt's 10-year anniversary, the play 'Art' will be performed in the Marsh Gallery for three nights.
