A graduate of Belleville Area College, Lindsay also attended Southern Illinois University and the Kansas City Art Institute. He has exhibited at the Pier Walk International Sculpture Exhibition in Chicago and has several collections.
Artist StatementThe idea for "Studio Buoy" came to Lindsay while recovering from a fall from a roof. Critically injured, he kept dreaming that he was drowning and would only survive if he could swim to a distant buoy. "All that we know is in the landscape around us now. My work endeavors to interconnect my feelings with my surroundings. These objects that share space with others, in this landscape, will become markers in a future landscape for generations to come..."
